Reviews of No38 The Park Hotel

Anna
This place is located in a beautiful building with a fantastic location near the council, the food is outstanding, and I especially liked the continental breakfast.
-
Roger
Greatly enjoyed extremely friendly and excellent staff and reasonably large hotel.
The room with a big roll top bath. The breakfast served was exceptional and superb, everything you could wish for, with black pudding and hot options, for example. The hotel had a central setting also close to the Cotswolds for bike rides etc.

Henry
Comfortable and incredible position, I really enjoyed staying in this place.
Overall it was an exceptional stay for one night.
-
Amanda
This place is absolutely gorgeous with huge units and a beautiful bathroom, located right across from the park, making it easy to get around - a pleasant spot for a one-night stay.

Jimmy
Really enjoyed the hotel, it is PLEASANT and clean, has quiet and simple location to all the Cotswold villages. Location: the venue was short walk to restaurant and Cheltenham. I had some drinks at Sudeley Arms, positioned 500 metres away. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, so I will be back.

We went for the half board rate and although there were only 2 couples in the restaurant our meal and service were excellent. Had spent alot of money on nice designer furniture and fittings.
Although we had better rate with Booked.net i still thought it was very expensive, especially charging £8.00 extra if you have the fillet of beef, pork, some puddings and cheese biscuits.

John
The units are perfect and fabulous with impressive bathtub in the middle.

Alec
This place offers stylish and spacious rooms with impressive bathtubs, set in a fantastic location in a charming area.

Great hotel and it was recommended to us by friends from Cheltenham. A luxury break in a very nice part of Cheltenham and we found it very relaxing, and its also close to the city centre. Didn't get the chance to eat at the hotel though due to visiting friends in the area, but again it was highly recommended and was popular with non residents for eating.
Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Comfortable & friendly & helpful staff. Excellent room, bedding etc.
A bit of a walk from the centre; the shower heat adjustment needs attention; needs a magnifying mirrow for shaving; needs tea/coffee making facility in the room. £15 is a little too expensive without a breakfast.

Staff were welcoming Good parking Lovely entrance and downstairs Bed very comfy and lovely feather duvet and pillows. I would recommend based on staff and convenience but think there are some points which need addressing by the hotel.
Bedroom was definitely not one on the website - ripped wallpaper, no mini bar only warm wine, beer and soft drinks, no tea or coffee making facilities but on top of your £145.00 one night stay you could pay £5.00 each for unlimited tea and coffee... Stingy toiletries, not enough for two showers. Dirty throw on end of bed, flannels stained and dressing gown, and the towels were frayed.
